edisplay software package provides fast image manipulation programs (image viewer), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install edisplay
edisplay is installed in your system.
Make ensure the edisplay package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edisplay *
You will get with edisplay package name, version, architecture and description in a table
